Our company was established in October 1962 as Japan's first company specializing in trading stamps and began operations the following year in March 1963. Since then, it has rapidly grown as a national stamp that is common throughout the country and valid for an unlimited time. We have been the first to research and develop point card systems and have always grown with the development of the retail industry by solving store problems and promoting sales based on customer information. We have continued to contribute to providing substantial services to consumers.
In December 1980, to expand our stamp business strongly, we separated our sales department as Blue Chip Stamp Co., Inc. (changed their name to Blue Chip Co., Ltd. in February 2000) and changed the company name to "Blue Chip Corporation" and started diversifying our business.
To clarify the new business direction towards the new century, the company name was changed to "BCC Corporation" in August 2001. As part of business diversification, we opened the business hotel ”Hotel Unisite Sendai” in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture in September 2001, and in May 2004, spun off hotel business division as Unisite Corporation.
In May 2008, we opened Hotel Unisite Mutsu in Mutsu City, Aomori Prefecture.
In addition, as a new initiative to achieve the SDGs, we made BCC Aqua Crystal Co., Ltd., a drinking water treatment system manufacturing and management company, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, one of our subsidiaries. Also, we established Izumi Real Estate Co., Ltd. in Miyazu, Kyoto to promote the private lodging business due to increased inbound demand, etc.
We are working on new businesses one after another.
